Version 1.1 - Effective 29 April 2026

BlipOut Privacy Policy

BlipOut operates a hyperlocal commerce, delivery, support, and store management platform. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can request deletion of your data.

Anyone who creates a BlipOut account, lists a store, accepts delivery work, contacts support, or uses BlipOut must accept this Privacy Policy together with the applicable Terms before using the service.

Request account deletion

1. Information We Collect

Account data such as your name, role, login details, saved addresses, store profile information, and support history.

Contact details such as email address and phone number when you provide them for account access, orders, delivery coordination, support, or store operations.

Delivery and location data, including saved addresses, approximate or precise location when you choose to share it, nearby-store discovery, order pickup and drop-off details, and delivery status updates.

Camera, gallery, and upload data such as product photos, store images, delivery proof photos, issue photos, dispute evidence, and other files you submit through BlipOut.

Order, wallet, payment, and settlement records, including payment references handled by Razorpay. BlipOut does not store your full card, UPI PIN, net banking password, or similar payment credentials.

Device and app data such as device type, browser or app version, crash and error context, IP-derived security signals, notification token, and basic usage events needed to run and protect the service.

Support, dispute, and AI assistant conversations, including messages sent to BlipOut support or to the BlipOut Assistant. Assistant prompts may be sent to Gemini or Groq to generate responses.

2. How We Use Information

We use this information to create and secure accounts, show nearby stores, process orders, coordinate deliveries, support store owners and delivery partners, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and comply with applicable law.

Location data is used to show local stores, calculate delivery context, and help complete orders. We do not use location data for unrelated advertising.

Camera, gallery, and proof photo uploads are used for store setup, product listings, delivery verification, customer support, and dispute review.

3. Payments

Payments are processed through Razorpay. Razorpay may collect and process payment information under its own terms and privacy policy.

BlipOut stores order totals, wallet records, settlement status, transaction identifiers, and payment references required for receipts, refunds, reconciliation, fraud prevention, and customer support.

4. Push Notifications

BlipOut uses Firebase Cloud Messaging only for Android push notifications, such as order updates, delivery alerts, account updates, and support notifications.

You can control notification permission from your device settings. Disabling notifications may limit real-time order alerts.

5. AI Assistant

If you use the BlipOut Assistant, your messages and relevant order or store context may be sent to Gemini or Groq so the assistant can respond.

Do not send sensitive payment credentials, government IDs, or private information that is not needed for support. Assistant conversations may be reviewed to improve safety, support quality, and service reliability.

6. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only when needed to operate BlipOut, including with payment processors, hosting and database providers, maps and location providers, notification providers, AI assistant providers, analytics or reliability tools, and support operations.

Customers, store owners, and delivery partners may see limited information necessary to complete an order, such as store details, delivery address, order items, order status, and contact or support details where required.

7. Retention

We keep account, order, payment reference, support, dispute, and compliance records for as long as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud.

Uploaded proof photos and dispute materials are retained while needed for delivery verification, support, legal, tax, or safety reasons. We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer required.

8. Security

We use safeguards such as HTTPS/TLS, hashed passwords, signed sessions, access controls, validation, rate limiting, logging, and operational monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect BlipOut data responsibly.

9. Your Choices and Data Deletion

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data from the BlipOut delete account page or by emailing privacy@blipout.com from the email address or phone number linked to your BlipOut account.

Deletion requests may require identity verification. Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, payment, dispute, or safety obligations.

10. Children

BlipOut is intended for users who can lawfully use local commerce, delivery, and payment services. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children where parental consent is required by law.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as BlipOut evolves. Material changes will be posted here and may also be communicated by email, in-app notice, or another appropriate channel.
